Well, here I am. Spent almost a full day on assorted planes, fortunately with some breaks in there as well. And now with the vast city of London to explore, I sit here and play with a computer. Typical.
Anyway, it's an interesting place. Lots of old buildings to look at, intersting places to visit. Museums and stuff. It's all good.
Planning to go to stonehenge soon. Should be a fun day.

Well, this is a quiet and lonely place, is it not? Looks to me like there hasn't been anyone posting here in weeks. That kinda sucks, given that I thought this place had some real potential. Looks like it may have been consigned to the great graveyard online where messageboards go to die.
Ah well, such is life. It seems to be part of the natural cycle of the internet. Messageboards come, and messageboards go. Posters get lives and give up on their online buddies, or else move on toother boards where they think the pickings will be better. It's a sad thing.
But hell, on thebright side, i'm having a blast over here in Europe. I'm now in Krakow. How cool is that?

Your trip sounds (sounded?) quite enjoyable. Thank you so much for your effort at life support. We may yet see a full recovery.

Well, it seemed a shame to take that first aid course and never use it.
Back home now, and trying to get enough work to pay of my credit card. ANd live, of course. It's amazing how little you need for hte latter.

That is true. As long as I have food & beer, I'm pretty much set.

Beer? Why bother?

I don't have time to go into a lengthy explanation.

Well, I understand that it has its attractions for some. Personally, I just dislike the taste.

Beer has many flavors.

But when you get down to it, most of them are beer.

Nearly all of them, in fact.

There's a chocolate one around somewhere

I think a good oatmeal stout tastes rather chocolatey.

You don't like chocolate? Beer's different nuances of flavor are very similar to those of fine wine. With beer, in my experience, they're more easily identified & enjoyed. Some might say the complexity of a wine's taste makes it superior to beer, but I disagree.
