What are you reading now? If you're like me, there's at least one book with a bookmark in it.

Currently, I'm reading The Mystery of Atlantis by Charles Berlitz. I think I may have read it a long time ago, but it seems mostly new to me. The premise is, of course, that Atlantis existed. Not only that, but it was the origin of Human civilization. There is plenty of geologic, archaeologic, & philologic info to support the theory. Thankfully, tho, he acknowledges sceptics & continually reminds us that there is no "proof".

i'm (re)reading Double deuce by Robert B.parker
I was gonna (and did in fact) type out the back of the book. But it was written awfully, made the book seem cliche and stale. Its actually quite good, A fourteen year old girl and her daughter are shot in the Ghetto and the main characters are contacted to bring whoever did it to justice.
Almost everything written by Robert B parker is golden i tell you.

I've read a bit of his stuff. He wrote the Stingray & Hawke books, right?

I just started Lasher by Anne Rice. The first book in this series, The Witching Hour was one of the most self-indulgent things I've ever slogged thru. So far, this one offers more activity.

I don't know what else he wrote to be honest.
Also, Anne rice sucks. Seriously, i can't understand how you're able to stomach it at all.

Surely, you jest. She may not be creating the world's finest literature, but she is a good storyteller.

I read nothing now. Please recommend something to me. Nothing? Really? I've never heard of such a thing. What do you like to read? I can recommend a couple authors I like, but no actual books come to mind.

I can recommend a couple authors I like, but no actual books come to mind. Now that you mention it, I don't really know what I like to read anymore. It's always been books recommended by friends.

My absolute favorite book is A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens. The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas is also another of my favorites. I haven't read that one in a very long time though.
But I am currently reading a book by Tami Hoag called Kill The Messenger. I just finished a book by David Dunn called The Black Silent. It took a while to pick up, and the DNA talk went over my head, but it was a decent book. It kept me interested till the end, so I guess I can't complain about that.
