Well, as some of you may have noticed, today was Friday the thirteenth, and the crazies were out in force.
For me, it began with work. I had a woman complaining about her fines. Normal enough. However, when I tried to explain to her how the fines are claculated, it became "mouthing off" and arguing. I admit that I didn't help matters when she declared she was going to ring my bosses to complain by saying "go ahead" but se was clearly looking for a fight before she walked through the door.
Now, not half an hour later, another woman demanded to see the manager to somplain that a co-worker had refused to let her browse through a trolley of books she was moving. Again, a crazy woman. I didn't get to hear the rant, but I saw it from a distance, and it looked impressive.
Driving this evening, there was, quite naturally, a crash at the end of my street. Traffic was slowing to stare, causing it to bunch and prevent anyone getting out. A gao finally appear, and some idiot actually stops their car infront of me to get a good look, blocking the entire road, and sits there until more traffic appears.
So, anyone else had one of those days?

Having worked in a library, I have to say that sort of thing never happened to me. Even in the bookstores, folks were usually willing to let me put books on the shelf before they looked at them. I've always considered Friday13 to be a blessed day. My experiences are often opposite of what people tend to associate with this date.
