Dumpster Diving used to be an activity only for us bums & such, but it seems to be getting more popular.

It's not a profession, but a profitable hobby.
Also, it can be a thing to do for survival. I've eaten many a meal out of restaurant dumpsters.
I've even found salable items, such as working VCRs, in dumpsters.
There is a saying: "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
