So, one of my weird, wonderful friends was raving about this Japanese movie I'd never heard of one night and on a whim I went to amazon and found Kamikaze Girls.I tossed it in the old dvd player and watched it. And my life changed. Again.

How old is your DVD player?

It isn't too old actually. I upgraded to a region free player a while back and now I use it for everything. It has good functionality, my region unfree players all sort of suck sometimes.

I was thinking of getting a portable DVD player. I don't have an apartment, but that's no reason not to stay on the cutting edge of entertainment technology.

I wish I could afford a laptop. I think I can get a portable DVD player for $20-50 at the pawn shop down the street from the shelter.
